HOLDING FAST IN HOPE
Join us this summer as we pray for students, pastors, and believers around the world.
JULY 20-27, 2025
Faith Under Fire
Suffering is a promise in our fallen world.
Wars, persecution, grief, pain, and our own flesh draw us from stability and toward anxiety.
These trials may tempt us to waver, to soften our convictions, to bow to the pressure.
But the reality of our future and eternal security—and of our present good—are anchored in the unwavering and steadfast promise of God.
So great are His promises that the apostle Paul declared, “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us” (Romans 8:18).
And even today, many believers are living through unique and extreme suffering for the sake of the Gospel.
Those who are unshaken in their conviction—those who we may love and support.
THE GREAT COMMISSION
Throughout the world, faithful men are striving to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations, just as Christ commanded (Matthew 28:18–20).
The Master’s Academy International (TMAI) exists for this very purpose: that all nations would hear the name of Christ, and come to seek, love, and serve Him.
TMAI trains indigenous church leaders to be approved pastor-teachers, able to equip their local churches to make biblically sound disciples.
Currently, there are 18 TMAI Training Centers equipping men in North, Central, and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
Over 8,000 graduates are around the world, shepherding churches in regions marked by persecution, warfare, and cultural opposition.
And each summer, we take a week to pray for each one of them.

WHY PRAY IN THIS WAY?
Together We Pray is our annual summer prayer event.
We take this opportunity to pray as individuals alongside our ministry partners and together as local church congregations.
It’s a dedicated week for individuals, ministry partners, and church congregations to unite in prayer, as we are commanded (Colossians 4:2).
For one week, each day we will focus specifically on the Training Centers of one region—praying for those who serve there amidst the wars, persecution, and pressure.
So, we lift these men and their families up to our Lord together in prayer.
Our theme for Together We Pray 2025 is “Unshaken: Holding Fast in Hope.”
We are called to “hold fast” drawing near to God, holding fast His truths that give us hope, and—in response—loving one another.
God is the object of hope for every believer. And we express this hope in trials through confidence in the Lord and dependent prayer (Psalm 62:5–6).
As the author of Hebrews states, “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful” (10:23).
And as we hold fast to the One who holds our salvation, we pray that those proclaiming His Name in the hardest places would remain unshaken in their faith.
Plan Two
JULY 20 AND 27, 2025
Rally your church to pray with us.
-
It is our joy for local churches worldwide to meet and uniquely partner with us in prayer. Whether 10 or 30 minutes, we invite churches, for one Sunday, to engage in corporate prayer for TMAI training centers and global regions of most interest to them.
Ideas to rally your church to pray:
• Dedicate time before, during, or after your church service—either breaking into groups or having someone lead the congregation collectively.
• Focus all or a portion of Sunday School on prayer.
-
Your church will receive Prayer Guide Booklets* containing key prayer requests and other information from our Training Centers in a format suitable for personal and corporate prayer. This guide will assist you in praying individually, with your church, or with a small group.
* Sign-ups received after May 30th will receive their Prayer Guide Booklet in electronic form, readable on a computer or handheld device, rather than in print.
An Invitation to You
Please join us in obedience to our Savior, as we pray steadfastly, specifically, and expectantly together for our fellow brothers and sisters across the globe.
