HOLDING FAST IN HOPE

Join us this summer as we pray for students, pastors, and believers around the world.

JULY 20-27, 2025

Our Lord’s Last Command

Dear Ministry Partner,

The Great Commission is a command for each and every Christian.

If we hold to this truth, how should our lives be transformed by it?

How does this affect our days, our priorities, our actions, and our hearts?

To honestly live with this presupposition seems daunting.

Yet, this is the last command our Lord Jesus gave to all who would seek Him and love Him (Matthew 28:19-20).

A TIME TO PRAY FOR 5 REGIONS

The Master’s Academy International (TMAI) exists for this very purpose:

that all nations would hear the name of Christ, and come to seek, love, and serve Him.

Our ministry is to train indigenous church leaders to be approved pastor-teachers, able to equip their local churches to make biblically sound disciples.

Since our founding, over 7,400 students have graduated and been sent into ministry throughout the world.

Currently, there are 19 TMAI Training Centers equipping men in Ibero-America, Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East-North Africa—specifically, 68 training locations to date.

And each summer, we take a week to pray for each one of them.

Plan One

JULY 21-26, 2025

Commit to praying daily for the nations.

  • Each email will:

    • Focus on Europe, Asia-Pacific, Ibero-America, Africa, or Middle East-North Africa

    • Include 3–6 prayer requests from TMAI Training Centers and Christians in that region

  • If requested during sign-up, you can receive a Prayer Guide Booklet* containing key prayer requests and other information from our Training Centers in a format suitable for personal and corporate prayer. This guide will assist you in praying individually, with your church, or with a small group.

    * Sign-ups received after May 30th will receive their Prayer Guide Booklet in electronic form, readable on a computer or handheld device, rather than in print.

WHY PRAY IN THIS WAY?

Together We Pray is our annual summer prayer event.

It is a week set apart for concentrated intercession—praying individually, with ministry partners, and as gathered local churches.

Each day is devoted to lifting up one region of The Master’s Academy International, focusing specifically on the men who labor to train pastors and shepherd churches around the world.

In war-torn regions, in developing nations, and amid social and cultural opposition, these faithful men study, preach, disciple, raise families, and tend Christ’s flock.

And so, we come before the Lord in prayer—together—interceding for their strength, perseverance, and boldness.

We pray not out of routine, but in obedience. As Scripture reminds us:

“Brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord will spread rapidly and be glorified, just as it was also with you.” (2 Thessalonians 3:1)

Our theme for Together We Pray 2025 is “Unshaken: Holding Fast in Hope.”

In a world marked by instability and uncertainty, believers are called to stand firm—not in ourselves, but in the steadfast hope found in Christ.

This unshaken hope compels us to pray.

As Paul writes, “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer” (Romans 12:12).

To be devoted to prayer is to cling to God with perseverance.

The early church modeled this kind of steadfastness: “They were continually devoting themselves to… prayer” (Acts 2:42).

The word “devoted” carries the weight of endurance, consistency, and courageous persistence.

But true devotion to prayer is not vague—it is informed.

As Paul instructs in Ephesians 6:18, we are to pray “at all times in the Spirit… making supplication for all the saints.”

We cannot intercede faithfully unless we are aware of real needs.

Watchful prayer requires spiritual alertness and biblical clarity.

“Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving,” Paul writes in Colossians 4:2.

This kind of prayer flows not just from knowledge, but from a heart aligned with God’s purposes.

Pastor John MacArthur puts it plainly: “Prayer is the most important speech that your mouth will ever utter. Prayer is a matter of proving to God the deepest concern of your heart.”

And what concern could run deeper in the heart of a Christian than this: that Christ be known and loved among the nations, that the church be strengthened in every land, and that the name of Jesus be proclaimed—until He comes.

Plan Two

JULY 20 AND 27, 2025

Rally your church to pray with us.

  • It is our joy for local churches worldwide to meet and uniquely partner with us in prayer. Whether 10 or 30 minutes, we invite churches, for one Sunday, to engage in corporate prayer for TMAI training centers and global regions of most interest to them.

Ideas to rally your church to pray:

    • Dedicate time before, during, or after your church service—either breaking into groups or having someone lead the congregation collectively.

    • Focus all or a portion of Sunday School on prayer.

  • Your church will receive Prayer Guide Booklets* containing key prayer requests and other information from our Training Centers in a format suitable for personal and corporate prayer. This guide will assist you in praying individually, with your church, or with a small group.

    * Sign-ups received after May 30th will receive their Prayer Guide Booklet in electronic form, readable on a computer or handheld device, rather than in print.

An Invitation to You

Please join us in obedience to our Savior, as we pray steadfastly, specifically, and expectantly together for our fellow brothers and sisters across the globe.
